John Webb, the president and principal broker is a native of the area and traces his roots to the first settlers in Floyd County and surrounding localities. Route 8, north of Floyd, was named Webb’s Mill Road in honor of his great uncle who operated a mill there. John’s technical degree in Aviation led him and his family to the Asheville area in the Western North Carolina mountains in 1989. After the company he was with departed Asheville, John stayed in the area and became a North Carolina licensed real estate broker affiliated with Prudential Asheville Fairview Realty. His experience in computer and internet technology has proved to be a powerful real estate marketing tool in Virginia, as well as North Carolina. Leslie Webb is a native of Gaston County, which is in the Greater Charlotte, North Carolina area. She has been in sales since 1979 and is licensed in Virginia and North Carolina as a real estate salesperson. Her experience includes the positions of Relocation Director, Training Director, and Sales Agent.

John & Leslie are Multimillion Dollar Producers and have maintained continuous Top Listing Agents and Top Selling Agents awards. Their specialties are farms, acreage, vacation and other types of rural properties. Although they have directed their full attention to the Virginia market, they will remain affiliated in North Carolina to offer customers services in the mountains from Asheville to the Virginia state line, and continuing through the Virginia Mountains to Roanoke.

Joe Turman, also a lifelong native of Willis, in Floyd County, joined the Appalachian Heritage Realty, Inc. team in 2001.
